Second Sunday of Lent

The Gospel has Jesus taking Peter, James, and John up the mountain where he was transfigured before them; his clothes became dazzling white and Elijah and Moses appeared and were conversing with Jesus. Then a cloud came and they heard a voice saying "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him."

That is what we are all called to do: Listen to Jesus! To do this, we need to quiet our whole being. I am copying here again a great way to do this. Just say the following slowly:
Be silent. Be still. Alone, Empty before your God.
Say nothing. Ask nothing. Be silent. Be still.
Let your God look upon you.
That is all. God knows, God understands, God loves you with an enormous love, and only wants to look upon you with that love. Quiet. Still, Be. Let your God love you--love you.
