Sister Lucie Nordmann, rscj, received one of twelve Catholic Women
Awards at ceremony in St. Louis on March 28. Sister Nordmann,
patient/family advocate at St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, Missouri,
since 1995, was honored in the category of Peacemaker: “a woman who
brings harmony out of conflict and who guides opposing people to
reconcile.” The awards are given annually by the Human Rights Office of
the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Sister
Margaret Caire, rscj, was honored at the ceremony as a nominee in the
category of “Evangelizer.” Sister Caire is the outgoing headmistress at
Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles.
