An
article by Sister Jane O’Shaughnessy, RSCJ, about the Catholic church
in China appears in the September, 2004, issue of St. Anthony
Messenger. Sister O’Shaughnessy was a Sacred Heart Associate when she
made her first visit to Taiwan in 1998, living in community with
Religious of the Sacred Heart and immersing her self in Chinese
culture. Over the next four years, she returned several times to Taiwan
and visited Hong Kong, Nanjing, Shanghai and Hangchou.
Her article is entitled “The Church in China: Cultivating the Pearl of Faith .”
