Opelousas residents regret Sister Byrne's departure |

Anne Byrne, RSCJ, has been the subject of recent articles in
the Opelousas Daily World, Opelousas, Louisiana, as she prepares to
leave the area and assume new duties in St. Louis as a member of Sister
Kathleen Conan’s provincial team. For more than a decade, Sister Byrne
has been director of the New Life Center in Opelousas, which provides
emergency shelter and transitional housing for homeless women, with or
without children.
