Sr. Conan

Sister Kathleen Conan, RSCJ, will be installed as provincial of the U.S. Province in a team transition liturgy August 14 at the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne in St. Charles, Missouri. Installed with her will be the three members of her new provincial team, Sisters Paula Toner, Marina Hernandez and Anne Byrne.

Members of the U.S. Province, Sacred Heart Associates, members of Associated Alumnae/i of the Sacred Heart, co-workers and friends are invited to join in the liturgy. RSCJ around the province will participate by teleconference.

A large woven shawl made in 1988 for installations of new provincials under the direction of Carlota Duarte, RSCJ, will be used in the ceremony. The shawl is threaded with ribbons listing foundations of the Society of the Sacred Heart throughout its history, beginning with St. Charles, Missouri, in 1818.
