Lisa Buscher to profess first vows this month PDF Print E-mail

Lisa Buscher has completed her novitiate in the Society of the Sacred Heart and will profess her first vows at a ceremony in Chicago on March 28. Lisa, 36, is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University, where she majored in religion, and a master’s degree in theology from Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. She expects to soon complete a master of divinity degree from Catholic Theological Union with an emphasis in Scripture. Lisa worked for seven years as youth minister and director of liturgy at two parishes in the Diocese of Phoenix before beginning her novitiate. For the past year, she has been teaching at the Josephinum, a Sacred Heart school in inner-city Chicago.
