Barbara Quinn rscj featured for program on workplace ethics
Sister Barbara Quinn’s program on “Business Leaders and Spirituality” was featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune on April 11. Sister Quinn heads the Center for Christian Spirituality at the University of San Diego.
In
the recent program, eight business leaders met for eight Tuesday
mornings to discuss ways to integrate “what they believe with how they
behave.”
“In a corporate culture of bottom line, where
spirituality gets left at the office door and executives are more
willing to bend their ethics than bust their budgets, this class
attempted to make a dent in the separation of good and goods,” wrote
Sandi Dolbee, the paper’s religion and ethics editor. “It is the
prototype of a program that a Roman Catholic nun hopes will change the
workplace one CEO at a time.”
