Purpose and Activities

The Spiritual Ministry Center was founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart in 1987. Our charism is to discover and make known the love of the Heart of Jesus today and to participate in the rebuilding of a more just and peaceful world. We welcome people of diverse faiths and cultures who seek to deepen their relationship with God and others. Our programs facilitate personal integration in the light of Gospel values and the insights of contemporary psychology and theology.

Spiritual direction, directed retreats, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and a variety of spiritual programs are offered. The staff is available for off-site programs and retreats of various types. For further information please contact our SMC as listed below.
